When Frank recorded “Deck the Halls” on the Noel Nouveau CD, his original arrangement was quite pedal intensive and not playable on the lever harp. He has simplified the arrangement and made it accessible for both pedal and lever harpists (playable on lever harps tuned in C and Eb!), yet he has kept the same mood, thematic material, and excitement from the original recorded arrangement. It is in the key of G Major, uses drop-2 voicing, includes lots of jazz chords, explores the entire range of the harp, and ends with a flashy gliss! Audiences will love this one when you play it this December.

Frank published the original version of “Away in a Manger” from the Noel Nouveau CD back in 2001. He has rearranged it and included more jazz chords, changed keys (D Major - so it can be played on lever harps tuned in C and Eb), created a new introduction, embellished and improved the existing arrangement, and created a new, more “Frank” ending. This arrangement is even lovelier than the original!

After performing at the Northern Lights Harp Festival in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, a conference attendee wrote:
