Remembrance

When Frank's mother passed away in 2018, he was reminded of the piano lessons and braces she gave him as a child. This piece is a remembrance of gratitude to his mother for all the love she gave him while she was on this earth. This piece is light, sweet, and delicate - with a heavenly sonority. It begins with a lovely and haunting melody. The middle section consists of a flowing arpeggiated pattern that supports the melody. Left hand patterns are simple and hand-over-hand arpeggios are clearly notated. This piece is a perfect selection for wedding prelude, unity candle, communion, and "high tea" background music. It is in Eb Major, with easy page turns and one lever or pedal change.
