Strings' Journey

This piece is a lovely waltz; however, it is also an excellent musical opportunity to reinforce placement of all four fingers (thumb and three fingers) at once. The simple melody in the right hand returns ascending and descending but each time with a new accompanying left hand pattern. The middle section contains a chromatic section – rarely attempted on a lever harp – but easy to master with a little practice. The final chord progression at the end of the piece leaves a sweet memory in the listener’s ear.
