This familiar hymn is one of Frank’s favorites. Instead of speeding it up, he has slowed it down and turned it into a ballad – with lush jazz chords (7ths, 9ths, 11ths, 13ths), slow glisses, and p.d.l.t. This is a lovely arrangement that will linger in the congregation’s ears. There are two lever changes that repeat three times – so although there are six lever changes, it is the same lever engaged and disengaged over and over, or the same pedal change over and over. Frank recorded this arrangement on The Harpist's Hymnal CD.
